Antonio's Dine & Unwine - Farewell dinner with my colleague

4 April 2012, Wednesday - Yesterday I had a farewell dinner with my Ingram Micro Malaysia colleague, since she loves pasta so we brought her to an Italian restaurant. The ambiance of Antonio's Dine & Unwine is rather quite, a good place for catch up with friends or even a place for dating as the crowd flow is only 2-3 tables per time in the place. I personally don't really like too crowded areas as it will be hard for chatting. The food there is fine for the taste bud, I don't really comment as perfect but is nice and most importantly a reasonable price right? haha... with good food and peaceful ambiance.

An overview of the restaurant's place

Starters :

- Cream D Bosco -

Is actually mushroom soup, there is fresh mushrooms in it a variety of them such as abalone mushroom, butter mushroom etc. Its nice not too creamy if not you would not be able to try other things. :)

- Mushroom and Tomato Brushetta -
I personally like the tomato brushetta as they put in Italian herbs and olive dressing as compared to the more filling mushroom brushetta that is creamy

- Hawaiian Thin Crust Pizza -
The pineapple is not really good as it is tasteless that's a bit disappointing, however for cheesy lovers this fits u best

- Zesty Lemonade -
Before starting on the main course, the waitress gave us this lemonade shot to clean our taste buds from the previous food taste and I think to help better digestions. So that we won't get too full before taking the main course.

- Marinara Fettuccine -
I had this seafood tomato herbs pasta with broccoli, mussels, prawns and squid. Taste lovely not too filling as compared to creamy based pastas.

- Gamb Agio Olio Angel Hair -
Served with broccoli, prawns and chili, taste neutral.

- Carbonara Spaghetti -
Served with mushroom and beacon and a pinch of garlic, for those who love cheesy cream based this is tailored for you.

- Salmone Penne -
Served with smoke salmon, the cream based is made up of chess and salmon extract, tailored for salmon lovers however I think is best to share if not you will feel too full then it would not taste as good as it is suppose to be.

Sad to say, I did not have extra space in my stomach to try the desserts there. The portions served are really huge, for ladies is better to share so that you will be able to try other food options.

Family Dinner in D' Empire Brasserie, Mont Kiara

Yesterday night I had a great family dinner with my 2 sisters and my brother-in-law in an Italian restaurant, we had a great time the food was lovely, I did not manage to take all the pictures of the food as it was so delicious that after finishing it then only I realized I forgot to take the pictures.

However I have some captured here. The place is located along the shops in Solaris Mont Kiara, the ambiance is good for friends and family reunion for chats and catching up with one another with easy parking as you can park directly outside the restaurant's reserved parking.

Hawaiian Thin Crust Pizza (Pineapple, sausage & cheese) - The pineapples are sweet as compared to some other shops where the pineapple are tasteless, really cheesy.

Grilled New Zealand Mussel (With black vinegar, olive oil, basil leaf) - Thin pinch of garlic and olive sensation in the taste.

Mix Seafood Grill (Prawn, Squid, Dory Fish, Mussel, Potato, Beans)

Rack of Lamb - This is well done, the meat is tender with mint sauce

Grilled Salmon Trout - Salmon sauce is made up of abalone mushrooms, while salad dressing is black vinegar and olive oil

Vanilla Ice-Cream & Walnut Brownies (FOC)

I personally don't really have a sweet tooth, however I gave a bite and the bownie is really chocolate rich

**Just FYI if you intend to treat your friends and family, remember to bring more cash or a credit card would be safe, the 4 of us ate the below receipt haha..

Monte's Restaurant & Wine Bar

Tuesday, ‎November ‎29, ‎2011

Today Shell Malaysia treated all who joined in the Shell FuelSave Competition to Monte's in Bangsar Shopping Village. I should say they are rather generous in treating us, as we were allowed to order whatever we like from main course to desserts haha..

The Shell FuelSave Competition was quite an achievement for us, the 10 of us got the 1st runners up with just a total of 0.8marks difference from the champion however all of us are really satisfied with what we got. As a team we worked together to strive and get the results.
I kinda miss college a bit although at that time we were really busy, stressed up sometimes even getting mad at each other, but it was a real experience and a story in life.

Group picture of those who attending the dinner with Shell

Got to know them better during the time we work together for Shell FuelSave Competition

My 2 besties that I got to know in college (a.k.a my assignment group mates)

- My lovely Irish Coffee with a shot of liquor in it -

However, it does not really taste nice as the coffee was too diluted :(

- Grilled Steak-

- Grilled Cod Fish -

- Grilled Lamb -

April Fool 2012

This year's April fool falls on a Sunday, but sad to say this year there is no one playing any April fool pranks around :(.

Anyway, I went to church wit Auntie Aimee and her family to DUMC for Sunday celebration, after service we went to Food Foundry in PJ for lunch.

The food there was quite good, I had Meatball Bolognese Pasta. Crepes and latte was for dessert, the latte was really good. Food Foundry is a good place to hang out with your friends or alone sometimes for some peace of mind.
